GLD Technical Consulting Ltd is a building services engineering design consultancy, experienced in a wide range of private and public sector projects and committed to innovation, effective collaboration and a client focused approach.

The Top Management of the company is defined as the Director, in relation to corporate issues and the overall quality system, and the appointed Project Director, in relation to the application of the quality system to individual projects. The Top Management is committed to:

1)          Identifying issues considered crucial to the company’s purpose and strategic direction together with key controls in relation to those issues.
2)          The development and implementation of a quality management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 and ensuring it is effective in addressing key issues.
3)          Ensuring compliance with requirements of the quality management system.
4)          Continually improving the effectiveness of the quality management system.

The objectives of the quality management system include ensuring that:

1)          Key issues crucial to the company’s success and strategic direction are identified and that the quality management system is designed to be an effective tool in successfully addressing those issues.
2)          Client requirements are identified and met with the aim of enhancing client satisfaction.
3)          All requirements regarding the service provided by the company are met.
4)          The quality policy is communicated and understood at all levels of the organisation
5)          Appropriate quality objectives are set by Top Management and performance reviewed
6)          The effectiveness of quality management is continually reviewed and improved

Business objectives, set out in the Company’s business plan and the accompany action plan, are established and performance reviewed by Top Management on the basis of the recommendations made in management review meetings.  The policy is reviewed at least annually as part of the annual management review, and where necessary on an ad-hoc basis in response to any circumstances which would necessitate its review.

The policy and the associated quality objectives are communicated to all employees. The policy is communicated to sub-consultants, displayed in the company offices and available on the company website.
