GLD worked with the client and PM to review the existing buildings and to help plan out the alterations to the existing facility to add in / alter bathroom and wc provision to match requirements whilst making best use of the existing MEP systems. Above ground drainage was a particular area of focus within the older elements of the building as was providing suitable hot water and ventilation to meet current regulations. We reviewed the scheme with the preferred contractor to coordinate the design with practical advise prior to issuing the stage 3 scoping documents to the contractors for pricing. An interesting project which allowed the client to expand their scope of services and provide increased provision of their care services.
