Following a major fire at this industrial and business park in Lancashire, we were appointed by Thomasons to identify the strip out requirements for the damaged mechanical and electrical systems and redesign for modern, more robust building services.

We designed a full system that would allow the adjoining industrial units to function independently or together, giving flexibility for different occupiers and tenures.

Our team designed standard heating, water, lighting and electrical building services that would support both office and industrial occupiers. We also designed acoustic vibration isolation, perimeter containment and outlets, intruder alarms, fire detection and alarms.

This was a great opportunity to make these sub-divided industrial units more energy efficient and attractive to the market.
