For this project we worked with a private client to make their home as off-grid as possible. The existing property was to be replaced with a bespoke home.
We provided both mechanical and electrical engineering services to our client designing them a building that included whole house heat recovery fans and renewable systems including photovoltaic panels. This project was a fun challenge for our engineers.
Other things that we included were all new lighting, new fire alarms, electric vehicle charging point , ground source heat pumps and underfloor heating manifolds.
The overall design left the client with a contemporary home in which they could enjoy the views of the site which displayed greenery, mature trees, and a meandering river – something which was their key priority.
