The existing vacant site encompass an historic bank building with a number of rear extensions and tarmac carpark behind with access provided by Moor Lane. The Contractor will note that the site lies within the Conservation area of Frodsham and the buildings surrounding the site are a mix of commercial and residential buildings. The existing site is to be redeveloped, with the rear extensions being demolished to accommodate a new 2-0 storey apartment block which will incorporate residential apartments and dedicated refuse and cycle stores at ground floor level. The existing bank building itself will be reconfigured to interface with the new apartment building as well incorporate new residential accommodation at ground, first and second floor levels. The site will accommodate approx. 7No apartments which will consist of 1No. 1-bed & 6No. 2-bed and will also incorporate a communal entrance and communal circulation corridors/staircase at each level. A retail unit will be constructed at Ground floor level and sited within the area formerly occupied by the bank.
