Oasis Centre, Gorton
A new build community centre for a charity, providing services to the local homeless community. Through the design, consideration was made in regard to the user and staff safety, whilst keeping the welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
The clients budget was very tight so there were significant restrictions placed on the staffs initial room data sheet requirements, which were worked through with them in a manner where they could massage their management of the building. This was done to match the restrictions of the reduced M&E scheme without compromising their main objectives.
