£10m replacement leisure centre with 25m pool, 100-station fitness suite, exercise and dance studios, 4-court sports hall and new health facility.
Low-energy heating and cooling were key for this brand new leisure centre. We used mechanical vents with heat recovery, natural ventilation and mechanical extract vents. Heating and cooling are managed by under-floor heating, radiators, VRF, frost protection, tempered air heating, split cooling and gas fired radiant heaters.
We also delivered user-friendly electrical services for the changing rooms, circulation, foyer, gym and fitness studios, office, plantroom, reception, sports hall, stairs, stores, swimming pool and WCs.
